Gringo for ‘the little bull’ Eltorito isn’t the biggest bull in the paddock nor is it trying to be. Located at the old Ngatea Butter Factory, Eltorito lives by what it preaches operating on practical low-cost principles with few overheads. This enables us to pass back to our partners a quality, independent and professional service at real rates.
In 2014, Scott returned to his roots in the Hauraki Plains and established Eltorito providing a business management service for primary industry operators.
Scott has an extensive dairy industry background, having spent five years working at Fonterra’s Head Office within the milk supply commercial and strategy teams before taking up the role of Commercial Manager for a 14,000-cow dairy farming business located across the Central North Island. He has also had practical experience with large-scale corporate farming entities across NZ, Chile, USA and China.
He specialises in business planning, analytics and data modelling, and developing bespoke reporting systems.
Scott and his wife reside on a grazing block in the big smoke of Miranda. In his downtime he can be found cheering (or commiserating) the Black Caps and mapping out his life in spreadsheets.
